NEW: Police seek missing Granite City man

GRANITE CITY - Police in Granite City are asking for the public's help in finding a man who has been missing since last Friday.
The missing man is identified as Michael Parker, 53, of the 2000 block of Edison Avenue in Granite City.
Parker is described as a white man standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 125 pounds. He has long gray hair, possibly with a braided ponytail.
Parker is physically handicapped and usually needs the assistance of two canes to walk. He also is nearly blind and takes medication. His last known contact with anybody was about 9:15 a.m. Friday.
Anybody who has information on Parker's whereabouts is asked to contact the Granite City Police Department at (618) 877-6111.
